re: starting/stopping plans

I usually do an entire demo for the kids and then review the first two
steps before sending them to their tables. As they are working, I
remind them of the next step and will re-demo if necessary. This seems
to work well, even for the Ks. I think it teaches them to be better
listeners and to follow a list of instructions. Of course, the better
listeners sometimes "help" the others at their tables, which is also
good because it encourages cooperation.
