Kevin mentions that his school is near Cal Tech where his students can have
first hand experiences of classical architecture. Encouraging students to
related in-class experiences with the world around them is definitely a
good way to help them learn. As Ron and I say in our dialogue, there are
countless examples of classical architecture in American cities and towns.
You might have a "contest" in which students are challenged to find as many
buildings as they can that do (and don't) exemplify this style. Marcia
