Dennis Golembek requested info on this topic Nov.8.
Dennis and ArtsEdNetters: Three years ago I asked this group if
anyone knew of schools with outstanding technology programs that
utilized art. I received several responses. One teacher from
Tennessee invited me to come and see the Shelby County Schools. She
arranged for me to visit six schools. It was because of this
experience that I got a picture of possibilities for teacher training
programs and workshops.
Because of a grant, I was able to develop a website that is a
treasure house of resources, including an art curriculum integrated
with technology, an internet resource list, and thematic units of
study, K - 8, integrating art and some technology with many other
subject areas. These were written by public and private school
teachers using a specific school system's objectives, but which are
broad enough for most any other school to use. I invite you to take a
look; I hope you will find it helpful. The address is:

The site is very much text-based, but worth the trip!
