Agree with the kid. Tell them, "Yes, they do have a choice. You respect their
choice. As a teacher, you choose to teach and not argue. Please go to the
principals office right now, (so and so will escort you) and explain your
choice to the principal. Good bye".
Oh so easy to type... not so easy to live... but, it does chill some of the
kids with an attitude.
