hey big gunky,

i have always been fascinated in human inventions that are modelled after
human organs. for example, the computer has many similarities to the human
brain. it might be interesting to have the students split up into groups that
would be responsible for a different section of the body. each group would
then try to find things that work like the parts of the body in their section,
or look like them at least. these could then be assembled on a large outline
of a body. each group could finish with an explination of the connection
between what they brought in and the corresponding human organ.

this would also tie into a history of inventions, and the science behind how
they work.
