I think adopting a museum is a wonderful idea - a way for students to
discover and share information about different regions, different types of
Museums, and different types of art. There could also be a career
exploration connection here. Unfortunately, some Museums don't have Web
sites or e-mail (ours are still in process), but snail mail can provide
videos, brochures etc that provide lots of information. I would be happy to
participate. I'm in the School Services Office at Winterthur Museum, a
decorative arts museum with collections from 1640 - 1860, in Delaware. Along
with our standard tourism-type information, we can provide information just
short of an actual visit. Let me know!
