After three field trips to see different kinds of plants and
landscaping that used little or no water, we will have the students make
drawings of low or no water landscapes. The students will work in groups
of three. Each group will produce one drawing. The names of the drawings
will be "Our best ideas for saving water in Tucson."
Paper size: 11 by 14
Medium: pencil and pastels
The students will be given two 40 minute class periods to finish the
drawings. If drawings need more time, additional time will be provided.
Drawings will later be included in a book which will be made by the class
and include other studio projects on the topic of water conservation.
