A good starting point would be Grame Chalmers book CELEBRATING
PLURALISM published by the Getty. I would also suggest going to the
artsednet archives to look at the discussion engendered around this
topic last spring.
education from a comparitive point of view using a single issue
or subject. I would highly recommend drawing on the museum
resources in your area as experts.
For older students, you should read Contemporary Art and
Multircultural Education, put out by the New Museum of Art in New
York City, authored by Cahan and Kocur.
