If you put an object/work of art in front of a group of 2nd graders, what
questions would THEY have? The second graders I teach are always full of
questions? If the object is interesting, compelling, intriguing, wouldn't it
provoke all kinds of things to talk about. If its not, all the prepared
questions in the world won't make it so.
