Just a reminder that (re)search (re)vision (re)construct : a contemporary
visual dialogue opens Saturday November 15 at 8 pm at the Old Dominion
University Gallery located at 765 Granby Street in Norfolk. Two of the
artists featured in the exhibition, Dori Grace Lemeh and Rina Banerjee will
present a slide talk and forum on November 14 at 3 pm in the Charles
Burgess Room (921) in the Batten Arts and Letters Buildinng located on
campus. The title of their forum is called "is you is or is you ain't my
icon?: gender representation and cultural authenticity in the visual artst"
The forum is co-sponsored by the art department and the women's studies
program at Old Dominion University.
