I'm not sure just how easy organizing the project would be--probably start
very small!-- but it would be a great creative writing project; use it for
a social studies report for a specific time and/or place; a science
project--perhaps the "newspaper" reporting on science/biology observations
of a local ecology; even as a non-verbal art project with image map links
to exploring --and expanding upon --parts of a master image.
It would also be a geat way to get art integrated into other curriculums.
I suspect that if this is going to happen in creative ways, art teachers
often need to take the initiative. I'm curious--what kind of ideas does
this spark for you?
