I have been using more and more prints in my lesson plans and dicussing brief
backgrounds of the artist that we are looking at....what information is most
relevant to first and second graders?...I find that they bore easily if I tell
too long of a story and find myself just having them look at the painting
itself without the background of the artist...... Especially the more
challenging classes with the higher discipline problems seems to be the ones I
lose first....Any suggestions??? stacy hedrick
