One of the methods I've heard about (from a science teacher) to clean bones
is to simply lay them out on, or next to a large ant hill. It takes a little
while, but according to my colleague they'll not stop until the bones are
spotless! Altho this isn't a great time of year to find ant hills, it may be
a thought for this summer.
