Haydee and Claudia,
There is a wonderful children's book "The Wall" by Eve Bunting about a
small boy that visits the Vietnam Memorial with his father to find his
grandfather's name among all the other dead soldier's names. I think that
5th graders would enjoy the story (I did!) and it really gives a
personalized view of the wall's significance.
