Angela,
I agree with you about all of the problems in Tucson with rapid expansion.
What bothers me about the people who have come here is that they have
tried to add things to the environment that don't belong in the desert.
Such things as GRASS, olive trees, etc. With the addition of these
plants, especially grass, more water is used to keep it alive. Can we say
that this is just more WASTE! Also, these plants have created more sinus
and allergy problems for residents who were not originally accustomed to
their presence. Why do people work so hard at upsetting the
ecosystem?
