In my experience, I have found that exemplary art programs are not the ones
that have it all worked out on paper, but are led by exemplary art teachers.
The same curriculum taught by a less outstanding teacher, is not the same.
What you should be looking for are outstanding art educators. I know several
extrordinary teachers that have incredible art programs in their schools, but
merely copying their curriculums, ideas, or methods, does not create exemplary
programs elsewhere. Exemplary instruction and programs have more to with the
