My name is Jose Rosa, I am in Don Krug's AE 605 class at Ohio State. My
Life centered issue deals with Social Restoration. Here is the intro to
my paper:
There are many issues that exists within art and ecology, yet even
one issue can contain many more themes. The issue of social restoration
can range from themes of economy in a post-industrial society to
wildlife and enviromental conservation. The social restoration page of
the Arstednet web site focuses on artists that bring the issue of social
restoration to their artwork. Five artists: Ann Hamilton, Rick Lowe,
Susan Middleton and David Liittschwager, and Buster Simpson use their
artwork to demonstrate problems in our past and present society and show
us a view to the future in many cases.
Any feedback on this issue would be appreciated.
I am also writing a paper on Latino life-centered issues, any comments
or ideas on this issue would be great.
