It looks as though a used wheel is a very popular quest these days. I, too, am in search of a reasonably priced used wheel, preferrable electric.
I have looked at several used wheels in my vicinity; however, they are either built for a dwarf or severely antiquated. (The last one I looked at was
advertised as a fly wheel with a 9" base. I went to look at it, it was a child's toy, with a rubber band as a driver for the wheel.)

At any rate, I have located a group of amateur potters that plan to buy new wheels in bulk. The discount is not substantial; however, the guesswork is
omitted, and the guarantee is great. If you would like more info, let me know.

I have not yet decided to go in on the group deal, and would prefer a commitment not quite so hefty. If I find more info, I will let you know.

Please email me any info you have collected and I will do the same.
