This is a message to tell you about the ICA web site at
It consist of three sections
Events ( relating to our programme), Resources (which has video and audio
tapes of anyone and everyone from William Burroughs to Christo!! - most of
these are recording from events at the ICA) and Webspace which relates to new
work on the www and specifically internet reated material. We have a new
section which encourages questions between art and science and even an arts
chat channel.
Interaction is the ICA education department. I am currently setting up an
arts education project for the internet - a self contained resource openly
available.
A summary of the department and the project can be found at

One aspect of this will relate to "ideas" - essentially conceptualism-
attempting to give 10-11year olds a grasp of how to begin looking at
contemporary art.
Does anyone currently tackle this difficult area in existing lessons. How do
children react if they think something has taken no discernable artistic
skill? Do they think it is nonsense? I would be very interested to hear you
experiences.
Many thanks
