On the last page of School Arts Magazine there are listed the Artists'
Birthdays for that month. I was just looking at December today--Henri
Matisse, Dec.31 !

Sometimes I enlarge the list and post it on my Middle School Art room
wall....the kids like to see which artist has "their" birthday. Certainly
opens up discussions when they aren't familiar with that particular artist.
