What grades will you be working with in your lesson on insects? If it is a
primary grade, could you use the art of a children's illustrator? Eric
Carle has written some wonderful children's books: The Grouchy Ladybug and
The Hungry Catepillar. Recently I was in the bookstore at the San Francisco
International Airport and saw an art book devoted to the art of Eric Carle.
He would fit your needs, if you are working with the lower grades. At the
moment I am blank on any other artist....
