This was my first experience here and I'm almost TOO excited! I went through the DBAE training this summer and am frustrated with the lack of time in a students day!! Anyway, to the point-- I have an opportunity to work with a 6th grade female student at my school that just learned that she has cancer. The girl is very shy and I know that expressing her feelings will not come easy. I believe art can help! I would appreciate any and all suggestions. I plan to go to her home on a regular basis and volunteer my time and YOUR IDEAS! Anxious to hear from you!
