Dear Ticia,

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art has just produced a Teacher Resource
Packet on "Mesoamerican Art and Culture." Emphasis is given to the Olmec
civilization, the cultures of ancient West Mexico, the great metropolis of
Teotihuacan, and to the Maya and Aztec civilizations. While there is no
specific information on weaving, the packet provides an introduction to these
cultures and has classroom activities to use.
