This happened today. Yes, it really did!
Kindergarten. Kids and I discussed the vegetables on the table,
(potatos, carrots, various squash, corn, apples) and I told them to choose
one and paint it. Easels set up, paint out. They've painted many times.
Jesse's turn. He chooses corn, loads brush with yellow paint and
procedes to put the paint on the corn. He was "painting the corn!" - He's
one of those kids - sweet, but I don't think the penny dropped.
> Hi, Everyone!
> I've got to tell you all...you'll get a kick out of this!
> Had the 6th graders get ready to start a drawing
> project. Gave each student a clean sheet of 9x12 white paper. When everyone

> student TURNED their unused, clean paper over and put their name on it!!!!
> Not one student figured out the front could have been the back or vice
> versa. I got the biggest laugh out of this so I tried it out on my second
> set of 6th graders. Yep, they did it too!!! Try it with your class!
