RE: [teacherartexchange] Xerox image transfers

I've done transfers using modgepodge or acrylic medium by painting 3 coats on the image (xerox or clay based magazine), in 3 different directions. Then, after it is thoroughly dry (and you must let it dry between the three coats as well) you soak the coated image in water for 5-10 minutes, and then gently rub the back of the image, and the paper rolls off revealing the image on the "skin" on the painted gel. This "skin" can now be applied like a decal on anything. It has the benefit of being able to be stretched to go around circular pottery for example. You apply this skin using the same medium.
