Problems with Subs

How about leave a check-off sheet for the sub in your sub folder?

If this were to happen in my school (and there have been sub problems
in the past), then I report the sub and that individual is not called
in for me again.

I also tell the kids no wet materials will be used when I am out. It
is a good time to catch up on sketchbook work -I leave an unopened
package of photocopy paper for the sub.

I am sorry this happened to you.

It sounds a sif you did everything right-but the plans you leave in
your sub folder should be very simple. I leave something for each
grade (K-8) It takes me a while to asssemble my fodler each year and
then update it periodically.
