Project Runway starts its fourth season on Bravo tonight. I believe it
comes on at 9:00 in Virginia. For those of you who have missed the other
seasons, it is a group of "wanna be" fashion designers who compete each week with a
different fashion challenge. It works sort of like Survivor with a weekly
elimination one person. The creative personalities of the designers is what
makes the show so unique.
I will mention the program to my advanced eighth graders, but will advise
them that the content sometimes gets rowdy!! My mature artsy students always
truly enjoy the show. Tonight, I think their challenge involves creating a
fashion design from things they find in a grocery store! Now that should be a
interesting. I can't wait!
I'm headed to the VAEA Conference in Williamsburg tomorrow!
