[teacherartexchange] clean-up/advisory

Hey All, I have two VERY large classes for 6th Grade. They are energetic
balls of fire that I want to just put out...atleast some of the time! Clean-up
has been a struggle and I am so scared to take out paint, since clean-up did
not go so well for collaging our sketchbook covers. Too many kids standing up
and talking usually means chaos for me in such a large classroom where there
needs to be order amongst them. I have assigned two helpers everytime they
come to Art so they can manage the larger tasks. As for the regular cleaning of
the tables...its become a struggle to get that info. to them when it is
time.

Help! Advice for me and the youngsters?

ALso, does anyone have advisory? I have an all girl advisory full of really
bratty 7th graders who do not want to cooperate or participate in any
community activity. Any activities or suggestions?
