This might be stupid, but how about designing birthday cakes ala the
artist? You could do a big, close up of a cake/candles in her
honor...and still incorporate the lesson of composition, scale, color
mixing (depending on media)

We are studying Georgia O'keefe and her birthday is coming up next week.

would love to celebrate it with the 6th graders, but I am not sure how
to.
Does anyone have any suggestions or activities they do to celebrate
