This is indeed a neat lesson, and the results are very pleasing to the
students. I did it with 6th and 7th graders when we didn't have time for
a full-blown painting unit. At least they learned to mix colors in a
controlled way and apply the paint in a hard-edged style (using just brush
technique--no tape!).
