Hi,
The ceramics teacher at my last school had the kids do a two-story house
planter. The house was either slab or cylinder construction, with a cut-out
door which was half open, windows cut out and lots of architectural
ornamentation. The whole thing was placed on another slab to create a
stable base and a container.
I still have one of these house planters in the garden with needlepoint ivy
in it! It's lovely and whimsical!

Subject: art for "village" theme concert
Hi all. I'm doing some hard-edge paintings of architectural details for
this exhibit (thanks to the lesson plans on the Incredible Art Dept.
site!!). What would be some good 3D lessons for this theme with high school
students?
I was thinking of clay slabs of facades with a cut-out for a mirror.
