teacher can do with a unit on Anasazi (social studies)
or petroglyphs/pictographs (science).

(clay would have to be dried ahead of time). You don't
need to be an art teacher to do these lesson ideas
(although it helps -smile)
Students could even do both to help learn the
difference between pictographs (drawn or painted) and
petroglyphs (carved or incised).
