scarecrows and owls

I have started putting the scarecrows up on my web site that second
graders did. Their classroom teachers use this project for a writing
assignment and it makes a great hall display.The students had a rubric to
look at before they started working and then comleted the rubric after the
artwork was finished. I put photos of their work in a digital file so I
usually take the photo of the students holding their work so I don't have
to remember whose artwork it is. I also updated the first grade page with
their clay owls and added to the kdg. page. The kindergartens are not
doing the alphabet in order this year so I'm coming up with some new
lessons to go along with the letters. Today we did fancy fish cut from
wallpaper -they loved it. And they are always amazed each week that our
lesson is the same as their letter they are studying.
