OH...I forgot, because I don't think of this as a stencil. For
kindergartners, to understand that shapes can become objects, I have them trace around
cardboard shapes I have precut (basic shapes), a great fine motor skill lesson,
then they have to cut out the shapes and create a person, place or thing. We
read the book, Color Zoo by Lois Ehlert. So I guess that is using pre-cut
stencils. oooppsss.... :-)
