Evidently the Baldridge Award was the business model that has been adapted to
the classroom. It promotes "buying into" the systems, (discipline), because
the students decide on the rules. I think that there are also all kinds of
graphs that the teacher creates to show statistics on what is happening in the
classroom. These graphs help the students visually to comply with the rules.
I want to know how it works specifically and would like a resource. If we
leave rule making to students without knowing how to guide them to meaningful
rules I think we would have chaos.
If anyone has info about this I would love to have it.
