We do pinch pot bells (make beads for the clappers) in K
First does pinch form rabbits for Mother's Day and some other cute
little animals some other time of year.
Second does clay pinch pot birds nests with pinched form birds and eggs.
Some kids make branches to set their nests on.
Third made hollow form clay storytellers this year. Last year we made
pinch pot bowls and lids that fit on with a hinge and put animals on top
of the lids like handles.
Fourth makes people from blocks of clay proportioned like a stick of
butter...bottom third gets cut in half to pinch out legs, top part is
head and neck. Arms are added on.
FIfth makes clay gargoyles or hollow form animals that they have to draw
in cross section as they will be made before making them.
Sixth makes clay houses or slab boxes with mitred corners. They also
make masks.
