Have you looked at Towson in Maryland? I don't know specifically about the
Master's Art certification program except what I was told in 1996. I had a
Bachelor's in Studio Art and wanted to go back for the Art Ed certification- that
is a 3-semester program, with one semester student-teaching. I asked about
MAster's certification & classes at that time and was told, "That's an entirely
different program" so I didn't pursue it.... schools will pay for teachers to
get their Master's and encourage that with raises anyway, so I got it within
my first 5 years of teaching.
Other than Towson, University of MD has an art ed certification program....
In Northern VA where I am from, there was nothing at GMU -- probably at VCU in
Richmond and of course schools in DC, but, expensive.
I think there are several hundred teachers on this email list!!!!!
