I do a form of the Monart program mixed in with color theory, texture and
shapes. We do bird drawings with construction paper crayons, hot air balloons
(patterns) watercolors/crayon resist, still life with gourds (chalk) color
mixing critters (got the idea here!) clay pockets with texture, snowflake
pictures with (painting with cool colors tissue paper). Janet
