a germ of an idea

I have been thinking of a new architecture idea and had a brainstorm yesterday. I am going to divide up my kinderkids, give each group a giant box (groups of 4-5) and have them each create part of a castle that would then become one building when the parts are put together.
#1. Has anyone ever done anything like this with kindergarteners?
#2. Any advice as to how to go about it?
The final work would be displayed at our annual art show.
