Elementary Painting
From: BibelotsOutpost@aol.com

I just finished a painting unit with third and fourth grades. I used Van
Gogh as an
example for both - third graders painted a landscape with signs of man in it
and
fourth graders painted landscape without signs of man - just nature. They
had a
wonderful time exploring the brilliant colors and swirling lines found in Van
Gogh
paintings. All shapes were created with these lines also. We used
watercolors
on 80 lb. paper. All were sucessful - the fourth graders turned out some
especially
wonderful work. We did some preliminary painting using the brush as a
drawing
tool - practiced strokes - they were excited with the whole process. Roberta

By the way. I have not sent out any e-mails to the people that mentioned
receiving
e-mails from me. Must be the virus working through their e-mail files or
something.
Have run my scan and nothing shows. I take the digest version so don;t think
it
came directly from me???
