I think you all took this too literally.I was just looking for an
alternative to the other horrid quote about "those who can't... teach"
showing how doesn"t have to translate into
"DO IT FOR ME "

SHOWing some one how, can mean leading them in the right direction.
You can show a student how to shade by modeling, you don't have to draw
on their paper.

I would hope teachers aren't doing the work for their students.
My students do look to me to "show them how".
to hold scissors
to draw perspective
to read a painting
etc.
Just my attempt at rewriteing a teacher slamming quote!!
