I live in Coral Springs ,Fl. a few hours from Disney.
Actually MGM, right next door, has the best tour for students to see how
their animation studios work. We've seen the conception storybooks and the
animation cells for the movies: Anastasia and Hunchback of Notre Dame before
they were released.
We went behind the scenes to see the scenery props constructed, the garden
and topiary landscape engineers, the costume designers and seamstress' and
the offices of the animators and the "Imagineers"or idea people.
Then they took us to a lab to draw a real animation cell of Mickey Mouse ,
and we each had one to go home with, along with a souvineer book of our tour.
We got to use the acetate and the paints, just like the pro's! Then we had
the rest of the day in the park. Great trip-
