I grew up in the early 70's and am haunted by memories of cheesy framed
prints of paintings of kids and cats with really big, sad eyes. The figures
(and cats) were skinny. I have never seen them since, but have wondered about
them. They were very popular back then -- it would be a hoot to see them
now! Could Keane be the mysterious painter?!
