If you could get a new electric kiln, which model would you get and why?
Have any of you purchased kilns in the past few years ? I'd love
recommendations based on your experiences. I am not a ceramics expert, and
generally do simple bisque and glaze firings.

My wonderful principal (I say that honestly!) was in my room today and saw
the sad state of my kiln. It has rust on the outside and the firebrick
inside realllly needs repair. I told him that I was looking into getting it
fixed this year, and he told me to look into new kilns instead. I've been
asked to look into replacing it, and to let him know the cost. I can't
believe it -- I've never thought about getting a new kiln as they are pricey.
I currently have a two section octagonal Skutt with a kiln sitter. I've heard
the digital setups are great. Advice, please !!
THANK YOU!
Amy R.
