I have had several children with broken/sprained wrists/arms. Although
things like cutting are a bit of a problem. they seem to manage the
lessons...if a little more slowly. Also, the cast might get in the way of
some materials. But, I have not found that students were unable to do any
work. And they even managed cutting.....I have to say, although I have
offered to help these students, they seem to manage on their own.

This is the elementary level. Don't know if that helps, this has just been
my experience.
