Educational sites with pop ups

Welcome to our list Mr.Pienschke,

As I said in my personal email to you earlier today -- I think your site is
great! It is well designed -- the content is well organized -- the quality
of work superb. My email was not a complaint.

Allow me to introduce myself.... I am Judy Decker -- who has
single-handedly (well...with one e-mail) gotten many educational sites to
move their sites to different servers simply because of offensive ads......
I have a person mission to "rid the Web of evil" (ha-ha). All kidding
aside... I was reprimanded in front of an entire class once because one of
my kiddies clicked on a gambling site ad!!! My reply was "Yes, I know he
did --- and I recall sending you email that there is software available to
block those kind of ads... I have even clicked on them myself thinking I
was closing the ad" ..and that was only a banner ad.... Now we have Spy cam
and gambling casino ads galore popping up everywhere! I even turned off my
POW ad blocker at home so I know now when a site has pop up ads. I will
only POW them during the summer (although it was fun to "shoot them
down")..... In life you get what you pay for..... I pay a local server to
host my site -- no ads. I have had no training -- just learned how to do
this from my son who is now 18.

I have to pre-select all of my sites to avoid objectionable material.
Instead of complaining about this Getty list -- USE it to you advantage.
Share our remarks with your superintendent in order to get funding to move
your site to a save server.

I know that my students' parents would complain about the gambling/casino
ads etc.

Mr. Pienschke -- do not leave this list-- rather learn from our
experiences. I have been on this list since fall of 1999 -- you learn to
"take a hit" and you get over it. While we are a very professional group of
individuals -- we are real people and do the same things real people do.

So do accept my apology for offending you with my suggestions.

Judy Decker
