I am signed up to test different web adventures (I think I signed up thru
Sanford???). Anyways, here is a new one - I think it has an interesting
approach.

> Project: "A Brush with Wildlife: Create a Composition with Carl Rungius"
> Topic: The art of composition. Learn about the principles of art and
design,
> see how wildlife artist Carl Rungius employed them in his artworks, and
> create your own composition in the online Composition Studio. You can even
> submit your composition for critique by the museum staff!
> Grades: Grades 5-9 (?). We'd welcome comments on the appropriate age range
> for this activity.
> This project uses Flash and Java. Flash is not required, though you won't
be
> able to see the cool "Art Principles Animated" without it. You do need a
> Java-capable browser, but virtually all browsers are now, so it should not
> be a problem.
> Here's the address: http://www.wildlifeart.org/Rungius/
> And feel free to pass this invitation on to other teachers who may be
> interested.
