Gourds, molds, etc.

The science teacher at my school is interested in growing gourds next
spring and approached me about using them for art. I remember reading a
bunch of entries here about a month ago, now deleted. Does any one know
how I can re find that info? I went the the index and couldn't get
more recent than July '01.
