I've seen half-pint milk containers spray painted,
openings cut on the sides and the children have
decorated the outside with sequins and/or glitter. They
twirl in the wind and look really pretty.
Also, old fashion clothespins (the one-piece kind)
painted in acrylics like tin soldiers or angels, if you
have no problem with religious Christmas.
