I use to let them save the dollars and purchase pencils, treats, bubbler passes(
opps! that's a Milw. word- I mean drinking fountain), art stuff, BUT it took too
much time form class. So I switched to using them for a raffle/drawing. the more
dollars they earn , the better their chances. Whom ever's name is picked they
pick a treat out of my Art Rewards box and get to dismiss the class.
I keep it simple , they like it , I like it and we have some fun!
